FREE AGENT-EXECUTABLE WORKFLOW

Find your next product idea with your AI agent

Most side project ideas fail because they come from listicles instead of lived experience. The best ideas are already in your head, buried in the daily frustrations, insider knowledge, and privileged access you've accumulated inside your domain. You just need a system to mine them.

The Sovereign Idea Workflow is a 5-phase prompt sequence you run with your AI assistant. In 45–50 minutes, it takes you from your professional domain expertise to a scored shortlist of product ideas, a Shape Canvas for the strongest one, and a complete business profile, market size, monetization model, revenue scenarios, and a go/no-go recommendation.

THE FIVE PHASES

Domain. Ideas. Scoring. Shape. Business.

Each phase runs sequentially inside your preferred AI assistant. Each one produces a structured output that feeds into the next. Clean path from your expertise to a profiled, testable idea.

01
Domain Extraction
Surface what you already know

Your agent interviews you about your actual work. Six structured questions surface your daily frictions, insider knowledge, privileged access, and target peer persona. Output: a Domain Context Map.

02
Idea Generation
Ideas rooted in your domain

Your agent generates 5–7 product ideas rooted in your domain context. Each idea must have a defined unfair edge (inefficiency, access, or translation). Generic AI-wrapper ideas are explicitly disallowed.

03
Scoring
Rank with a rubric

Each idea is scored on three weighted dimensions: unfair advantage, market signal, and weekend-validatability. The rubrics are specific — a “5” on market signal requires visible paid demand, not a hunch.

04
Shape Canvas
The first artifact of the Building Loop

The top-ranked idea expands into a complete Shape Canvas: problem, user, constraints, definition of done, success signals, kill signals. The first artifact of the Building Loop.

05
Business Profile
Commercial reality before you build

Competition. Market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM). Monetization model with realistic price anchors. Three 12-month revenue scenarios. Risks and failure modes. A direct go / no-go / adjust recommendation.

WHY THIS WORKS

Not another “ideas for 2026” list

1

Mines your domain, not the internet

Every "side project ideas" listicle is written by someone who has no idea what you do. The real ideas live in your frustrations, your insider knowledge, your privileged access. This workflow surfaces them systematically.

2

Runs where you already work

The workflow is a .md file. You paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or your IDE’s AI assistant. No new tools, no new accounts, no new workflow to learn. Just structured prompts that do the strategic thinking with you.

3

Ends with a business reality check

Most idea generators stop at the idea. This one ends with a full business profile, competitive landscape, market sizing, monetization, revenue scenarios, and a direct recommendation. You walk away knowing what you’re getting into, not just what you might build.

WHAT YOU GET

One file. Five phases. Sixty minutes to a profiled idea.

The workflow is a single Markdown document designed for use inside any modern AI assistant. Everything you need for a complete session fits in one file.

1

Five pre-filled prompt blocks

Phase 0 through Phase 5, each pre-engineered to keep your agent in role and on task. No prompt engineering skill required.

2

Structured outputs at every phase

Domain Context Map, ranked idea shortlist, Shape Canvas, and a full Business Profile. Each output feeds directly into the next phase.

3

A direct go / no-go recommendation

Phase 5 ends with a clear recommendation: pursue as-is, pursue with adjustments, or drop in favor of your second-ranked idea. No "it depends" answers.

4

Agent-ready, human-readable

The .md format is designed to be used directly by an AI assistant, but reads cleanly in any text editor or note-taking app. Fork it, adapt it, run your own version if you wish.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. One Saturday morning.

No account needed beyond your email. No course to complete first. Download the file and start the session with your agent.

2

Open a session with your AI agent

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or any frontier model. Paste Phase 0 to start. The agent will ask you to paste each subsequent phase when ready.

3

Work through the phases honestly

Each phase depends on the previous one. Invest the time in Phase 1 — vague answers there produce generic ideas later. Total runtime: 45–60 minutes for a focused session.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

Built for a specific kind of builder

This workflow is most useful if you're in one of these situations.

Scenario 1: “I have domain expertise but don’t know what to build

You’ve spent 8+ years deep in an industry or technical niche. You have real insider knowledge. But when you sit down to brainstorm product ideas, your mind goes blank or goes generic. The workflow extracts what’s already there.

Scenario 2: “I have too many ideas and can’t pick one

You’ve got five half-formed ideas in a notes app. None of them have been scored or validated. The workflow forces explicit scoring against a rubric, so you walk away with one idea ranked above the others and a reason why.

Scenario 3: “I want to know what I’m getting into before I build

You don’t want to build for three months only to discover the market doesn’t exist or the pricing doesn’t work. Phase 5’s Business Profile tells you the commercial reality before you write a single line of code.
